Problem
The shopping center’s aging ballasted EPDM roof system had reached the end of its service life. Chronic leaks were occurring over vital tenant spaces, and the roof was at risk of blow-off, threatening operations and tenant satisfaction.
NRP Solution
NRP recommended a complete 60 mil TPO Recover system designed to deliver long-term performance, watertight protection, and improved energy efficiency. By combining advanced materials with detailed installation, the solution eliminated vulnerabilities and secured the property against future failures.

Scope of Work
- Comprehensive moisture scan with removal and replacement of wet insulation
- Installation of new 1/2" coverboard
- Application of 36,000 sq. ft. of 60 mil reinforced TPO membrane
- All new wall and curb flashings, edge metal, and coping caps
- Protective walkway pads in high-traffic zones
- Conduit and gas lines cleaned, treated with rust inhibitor, and finished with highly reflective yellow paint
