Problem

When a large retail facility in Big Spring, Texas, faced a roof system that had reached the end of its service life, the building owner turned to NRP for a long-term solution. 

NRP Solution

NRP began with a full moisture scan to identify compromised areas, followed by the removal and replacement of wet insulation. To improve drainage and prevent ponding water, a tapered insulation system was installed. The team then applied 19,615 square feet of 60 mil reinforced TPO membrane.

All critical components, including wall and curb flashings, coping caps, and edge metal, were replaced. Protective walkway pads were added to support maintenance traffic.
